Agarwood is the dry woody oily part of the plant of the Thymelaeaceae (Thymelaeaceae), and is a wood, spice and traditional Chinese medicine. When the heart of the agarwood plant is stimulated by trauma or infection by rhododendron, a large amount of resin will be secreted to help heal, and a rich aroma tissue will be produced in the process.
